Andrea Marcaccio (born 1989 in Urbino, IT) is an Italian artist. In 2013, he graduates in Theory and Analysis of Cinema at the Fine Arts Academy of Macerata. In 2016, he obtains his master of science (MSc) in Sculpture and Video Sculpture. His works are mainly focused on video and the body with expressive solutions that range from sculpture to performance, from installation to public art. His video-making activities include the participation with Studio Azzurro in the installation Paesaggi Abitati at the Biennale di Architettura di Venezia 2014.

At the VENICE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART WEEK 2016, Marcaccio presents Muta 3.0, a performance that comes alive from a personal need of finding again the contact with the people, of discovering people and making people (themselves) be discovered as well. In the information technology feelings and relationships era, it is about finding again the importance of a primitive contact.
