Christina Georgiou (born 1983 in Nicosia, Cyprus) is a visual and performance artist. Her performances encompass long-durational processes including elaborate installations and the use of sound, presented through photography, video or live action. She perceives the human body as a vessel of myriad aspects, which can be revealed through one's action as element of the authentic Self. She sees the human figure as a living image and living sculpture, creating poetic images through the presence of the body while channeling energy through action. Georgiou is the founder, director and producer of CIPAF Cyprus International Performance Art Festival.

At the VENICE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART WEEK 2016, Georgiou presents the live durational performance Antigone's Dream: Actions of Love, an endeavour to touch the untold and the unseen under the layers of dreams, fears and desires, through a connection with the past, present and future – all at once in the here-and-now. It is a journey of finding the presence of love in our actions while questioning time, history, myth, power, ethics, life and death.
