Born 1945 in Grimma (Germany). Lives in Cologne (Germany). "Kunst der Begegnung - Art of Encounter" is essential in Boris Nieslony's work, on which many project initiated by the artist are based: Künstlerhaus Hamburg, the art group Black Market, or ASA - Art Service Association. His performance conferences combine theory and praxis, on the documentations of which a branch of the performance art network in Europe and Asia is being archived and can be followed. His live works are unpredictable and unrepeatable improvisations.

At the VENICE INTERNATIONAL PERFORMANCE ART WEEK 2012, Nieslony presents the live performance and installation A Feather Fell Down On Venice.
